Most of us, even our physicians, aren’t trained in nutrition. However, it really isn’t complicated. In a nutshell, our bodies aren’t designed to eat processed, lifeless food that is grown with chemical fertilizers and drowned in pesticides. They are designed to eat the vibrantly colored, organic, live fruits and vegetables that grow from the earth, lean meats, beans, nuts, seeds & hearty grains. These foods FUEL our bodies to be strong & to thrive! There are endless recipes that can be made from them and I do my best to create dishes at home in my own kitchen. That way, I have as much control as possible over the quality of the ingredients. This is my lifestyle choice. I am committed to it because I know from my own experience the profoundly positive affect it has had on my health and my life.

Nature provides

Fruits and vegetables are filled with phytonutrients or compounds that fuel our bodies to function properly and that reduce chronic inflammation, the root cause of many diseases. Many processed foods are filled with low quality ingredients, chemicals, food colorings, additives and cheap fats that - create -chronic inflammation. Phytonutrients “turn off” the switch of inflammation in our cells - and processed foods “turn it on”. By understanding this, we have the opportunity for much more control of our health.
